#relating forests - Seminar at Freilichtmuseum

#relating forests - Seminar at Freilichtmuseum

When fairy tales and masks meet science in Lipperland.

As part of our ‘relating forests’ project, we invite you to a seminar at the Detmold Open Air Museum. For this first collaboration, Ms Gefion Apel will take us on an enriching walk through the open-air museum. The focus will be on language, fairy tales, superstition and the perception of nature.

This seminar marks the start of the German part of our ‘relating forests’ project and allows us and our partners from Norway and France to immerse ourselves in Westphalian culture.

This seminar is an important building block in the 'relating forests' project, which has already brought people together in France and Norway. In further blog articles, we will report on the background of the project, the development of our methods and the experiences from the different countries. Follow our journey through the forests of Europe and discover how similar yet unique stories unfold everywhere.

The workshop and all activities of relating forests in Germany are funded by European Union the Stiftung Standortsicherung Kreis Lippe Foundation, Lions Lippe Förderverein Lions Club Detmold, the Sparkassen Foundation Sparkasse Paderborn-Detmold-Höxter, and Rolfscher Hof.
