Strolls through the city

In forays through the city, TheatreFragile invites you to get to know the city from its unexpected side. Together we explore the familiar surroundings through fresh forms of exploration.

TheatreFragile develops these forays site-specifically and tailored to the target group.

As part of the "nah dran - mittendrin" project supported by the Fonds Darstellende Künste, a series of 3 forays took place in Detmold in 2021.

With "KörperRaumStadt", we explore the city from different perspectives, inspired by various body practices. Images and associations guide our gaze, we close our eyes and experience the surrounding city sounds.
With "Spazieren in Erinnerung" (Walking in Memory), we explore memories of theatre moments and tell how they have changed us and our perspective on the city.
With the walk "Grenzgänge" we approach a neighbourhood, accompanied by an expert in urban space research. Together we will walk through the neighbourhood and confront ourselves with the surroundings and its inhabitants in a visual, interactive and performative way.
